WELCOME
SEASON
For seasons, the four clans have lives around the lake in peace. The territories finally equally divided and plenty of prey in each. But as the seasons change, and leafbare strikes its chilling claws around the lake, cats grow mean with hunger and are willing to fight for food. Herbs are dying, prey is hibernating, and the ice on the lake grows everyday. Will the clans survive this leafbare, or will they destroy each other in the process?

This is a mini-plot run site. There is no site-wide plot at the moment, and there might never be one. The member get to make the plots between their own characters. The staff are all friendly and the members very welcoming. New members are always welcome, and the site is become active.

LEAFBARE

The snow has finally come, and the prey is becoming harder and harder to catch. The trees have lost their leaves, except in ShadowClan territory, where the pine trees are covered in a thick layer of snow. Cats are starting to go to sleep hungry, and it's affecting their moods a bit.

Introductions can be made here, as well are farewells. If someone is planning to be gone for a certain amount of time, or forever, it is important to post here saying so. If you don't, you risk getting deleted because a staff member didn't realize you would be returning and was only on a short hiatus. This is also a good way to get to know people.

[ ]• PENDING BIOS
There are certain things you need to complete before roleplaying. One of those is a character biography, and in order to make one, you need to use the form, which you will be able to find in this board. Fill it out completely, which means don't delete any part of it unless a staff member says it is okay. If you do your bio right, it will be accepted.

[ ]• MINI-PLOTS
Along with a site-wide plot, we may have mini-plots going. Or the whole site might be ran by mini-plots. They are just ways for members to interact and get involved with their characters instead of just having them do one thing. Who wants to always have their character go hunting, catch prey and go home? Now we can have planned plots with two or more characters.

[ ]• ADOPTION CENTER
It's only natural that, once two characters fall in love, the roleplayer wants them to have kits. Most of the time, they make the cat have the max amount of kits, which means there will be too many kits for two people to roleplay. This is where extra, homeless kits go. Post the litter here, make them look adorable, and somebody with want to roleplay at least one. Trust me, kits go fast.

THUNDERCLAN (acornstar)
[ ]• CAMP
Placed in a symmetrical stone hollow, ThunderClan's camp is protected from severe weather and enemy attacks. The sheer strone walls were left behind by twolegs, but they haven't been back for seasons. The entrance is a thick gorse tunnel, and rival clans will think twice before entering. Acornstar has his den above the High Ledge, a slab of stone sticking out from the rest of the wall. All clan meeting are made below the High Ledge, and it is very important to ThunderClan's members.
The nursery is also important, and is located inside a large bramble thicket, with a thick defense of thorns. Dim sunlight can filter in through the top, but it's usually dark inside, and smells strongly of milk. Nearby are the warrior and apprentice dens. In case of an emergency, they need to be able to protect the kits and pregnant queens at all times. The elder's are placed on the other side of the camp, inside a honeysuckle bush. The flowers always make the camp smell sweet all through newleaf. Lastly, there's the medicine cat's den. This den is placed in the side of the camp in a hollowed out den. There's a pool near the back, and fresh water drips into it from a trickle that flows down the wall. This way, patients can have a fresh water supply close by at all times.

[ ]• TERRITORY
ThunderClan are stalkers and hunt mostly in wooded areas with thick undergrowth. They feast mostly on birds, squirrels, and mice with the occasional rabbit. In the lake territories, they have large, tall trees. One such tree is the ancient oak, also known as the sky oak. It;s the tallest tree in ThunderClan's forest, and many apprentices have been dared to climb to the top, but no one has been able to yet. Most climbing lessons are done here, and it's also a good place to hunt. Farther into the forest, there;s the abandoned twoleg nest. It's a good place for prey, but an excellent source of herbs, especially catmint and borage leaves. It has an ominous and empty feeling, and seems ready to collapse at any moment.
There are also sets of tunnels, with many entrances scattered throughout all the territories. They are closed up right now, but new entrances may be discovered everyday. The connect all the territories, and could be used for surprise ambushes. I wouldn't recommend it though.

RIVERCLAN (tawnystar)
[ ]• CAMP
Safely tucked away on a triangle of land between two streams, RiverClan makes their camp. It's circled by gently rustling reeds, and their calming lullaby lulls the cats to sleep every night. It's well sheltered from weather and enemy attacks, especially because the other clans hate water so much. Being near streams also gives then easy access to a constant source of prey.
The leader makes his den inside a thicket, and the elder's den is nearby, also in a thicket. Minnowleap, the medicine cat, has a den located underneath a thorn bush that overhangs the stream. The earth below was washed away by the stream, leaving a pool by the roots and a hole in the bank where Minnowleap keeps her herbs and other supplies. The nursery is inside a group of brambles, are is protected from rain and snow. The warriors and apprentices sleep in bushes that are located all over the camp. The warriors sleep in the biggest ones, and the apprentices in the smaller ones. Toward the middle of the camp, a flat stone stands about a foxlength tall. It's smooth from erosion of wind and rain, and the top is almost perfectly flat, as if something cut the top right off. This is where the leader addressed the clan and everyone calls it the Flat Stone.

[ ]• TERRITORY
RiverClan are swimmers, and prefer to eat fish over woodland prey. It makes sense that their territory would be marshy and wet. A majority of their territory is the marsh, an expanse of territory by the island. Mostly frogs are the only source of prey here, and only ShadowClan eats frogs. This is mostly used for herb supplies. Most herbs can be found here because of the moist and rich ground. To find prey, RiverClan turns to the lake and the streams. Fish can be caught by the dozens here, and most fishing lessons take place by the stream. Some cats can be found swimming in the lake, but never when others are fishing and never too far out. If a cat swam to the middle, they would surely drown. The halfbridge is also part of their territory. It is an old rundown twoleg bridge. It's broken and crumbling, and covered in rot. Still, twolegs like to run and jump off of it in greenleaf. Foolish twolegs. This place is usually avoided, especially in greenleaf. The farthest their territory goes is to the horseplace. This is where their border with WindClan is. Anywhere from the marsh to horseplace is a good hunting ground for voles and a few slow rabbits.

WINDCLAN (brackenstar)
[ ]• CAMP
WindClan feels they have a very close bond with StarClan, and their camp structure supports this. A shallow scoop in the ground is all they have, and it open to the sky and stars. They prefer not to hide under trees and stones, and let their ancestors shine down on them as they sleep. Unlike the other clans, they don't prefer to sleep in dens. That would just block out the natural sky lights. The warriors, apprentices, queens. Everyone sleeps out in the wide open. If the weather does get bad, the cats can retreat into underground burrows, abandoned by badgers and foxes.

[ ]• TERRITORY
Hills, as far as the eye can see. That's pretty much WindClan's camp. Plenty of room to run after rabbits, and play fight, and train. There's a little more than just hills, but those placed are farther off. The first is the structure that marks the border with WndClan and RiverClan, the horseplace. It's ran by twolegs, but they mostly leave the cats alone. There are a few horses, and they also don't bother the cats. But be careful; they could easily kill a cat by just stepping on them. Then again, just stay on the safe side of the fence. There are a few cats that live in the barn right by the horseplace. They aren't kittypets, but they aren't feral either. Don't bother them and they won't bother anyone. On the far side of WindClan's territory is the moonpool stream. It runs right on the edge of WindClan's border and into the hills to the moonpool. All the clans have a right to travel alongside it to get to the moonpool.

SHADOWCLAN (sootstar)
[ ]• CAMP
Twolegs sometimes get a bit too close for comfort, but the gorse and thorns should keep them out. ShadowClan's camp is hidden among large masses of brambles and gorse, creating a thick armor of impenetrable thorns. Good luck getting in there without losing a tail or an ear. Inside, it's less cramped than expected. The dens are large and lined with pine needles, moss, and bracken. The nursery is placed inside a bramble thicket, and the inside is very cool and dark. Perfect for greenleaf. Clan meeting take place under the Highbranch, and the leader's den in located right below it.

[ ]• TERRITORY
As usual, ShadowClan's territory is made up of thick pine forests, with high up branches and a pine needle littered floor. A twoleg nest is located farther out into the forest, and it home to two very aggressive kittypets. They like to attack those who are alone or weakened. Even farther out is a twoleg path that leaders to the greenleaf twolegplace. I would suggest steering clear of it during greenleaf, or pretty much always. Besides those three places, the rest of the territory is just pine trees and more pine trees. Good hunting, as long as the twolegs keep quiet.

SHARED TERRITORY
[ ]• ISLAND
The Island is where all four clans meet in peace during the full moon. It is placed just of the shore of RiverClan territory, with a deep expanse of water separating it from the mainland. To get across, the clans use a fall log to cross over to there meeting ground. There's lots of room to move around, and the main clearing is surrounded with thick undergrowth and trees. The leaders make their announcements from the Great Oak, a tall, thick oak tree in the middle of the clearning.

[ ]• MOONPOOL
The Moonpool is a small pool high in the hills above WindClan territory. It is surrounded by stone walls and fed by a trickling waterfall. There are ancient pawprints etched in the stone, possibly from other cats that came here long ago. The Moonpool is very sacred to all the clans. Leaders come here to receive guidance from their warrior ancestors, and this is where medicine cats from all four clans meet every half-moon.
